Sr Systems Engineer II
Job Description: The candidate guides the successful completion of integration and test events for Raytheon Missile Systems products.
Tasks include: -Providing the technical leadership in the development of laboratory test techniques, facilities, and test systems.
-Being the principal reviewer for test plans and procedures; including test systems software.
-Leading Hardware and Software integration of all guidance section level and above systems, major subsystems and weapon systems.
-Leading development, design verification, and acceptance tests.
-Leading environment tests for engineering development programs and some production, including qualification stress screening.
Work is performed without appreciable direction and the candidate may exercise considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of an assignment.
Created products are reviewed for adequacy in meeting long term objectives.
The candidate represents Integration and Test as a prime technical contact on a project.
Travel to test sites may be required.
Required Skills: The candidate should be able to apply extensive technical expertise in the integration and test process and practice, and possess full knowledge of other related disciplines.
Secret Security clearance required.
Desired Skills: Possess the ability to interact with other senior personnel from internal and customer organizations to develop a coherent action plan.
Labview or similar knowledge a plus.
Experience: 6 years of technical experience.
Required Education: BS in Engineering field (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems).
A MS in Engineering is optional and may reduce the years of technical experience required.
