Sr Systems Engineer I
Job Description: The candidate is a primary contributor to the completion of integration and test events for Raytheon Missile Systems products.
Tasks include: -Developing laboratory test techniques, facilities, and test systems.
-Being the principal author for test plans and procedures; including test systems software.
-Supporting Hardware and Software integration of all guidance section level and above systems, major subsystems and weapon systems.
-Conduct development, design verification, and acceptance tests.
-Support creation of environment tests for engineering development programs and some production, including qualification stress screening.
Work is generally directed, and the candidate independently determines and develops approaches to technical solutions.
Created products are reviewed for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Contacts are inter-organizational within RMS, with frequent outside customer contacts on all matters.
Travel to test sites may be required.
Required Skills: The candidate should possess a complete understanding and wide application of integration and test process and practice, and be capable of solving a variety of difficult technical problems through the application of imaginative action and consistent process.
Secret Security clearance required.
Desired Skills: A faculty for independent action and the lead of small teams.
Labview or similar knowledge a plus.
Experience: 4 years of technical experience.
Required Education: BS in Engineering field (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems).
A MS in Engineering is optional and may reduce the years of technical experience required.
