Software Engineer to develop wireless home security and automation software in Vienna, VA Software Engineer, Tysons Corner, VA (Washington DC) Alarm.com Would you like an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding consumer security and home automation technology company? You will be part of a select engineering team designing, developing and implementing Alarm.com consumer products which provide wireless web and smartphone enabled security, monitoring and home automation services to over 400,000 residential and commercial customers.
Customers benefit from remote real-time control of and notification from security sensors, cameras, door locks, lights, and thermostats using a web browser or web-enabled cell phone.
Products/services are sold through an established network of over 1000 certified Alarm.com dealers.
REQUIREMENTS BS CS, (MSa plus) Minimum of two years full life-cycle object oriented software engineering in a team environment using C/C++, C#, ASP.NET, Java Experience with mobile applications development on Android, Iphone or Blackberry platforms a plusStrong analytical, problem solving and communication skills Self-motivated, tenacious driver with passion for creating high quality consumer technologyDesire to work in a fast paced, intrapreneurial environmentPosition also available for more experienced Senior Software Engineer Please provide your resume and salary requirements in confidence to mmcinnis [at] alarm [dot] com [dot]
