Crawford Communications Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) has been retained by our high tech client to source an exceptional candidate for their Search Engine Marketing Manager, permanent employee opportunity.
Our promising high growth/high success mature start-up client is located on the San Francisco mid-Peninsula.
Client Engagement Details: We are looking for a qualified Search Engine Marketing Manager.
The primary responsibilities will be the development, optimization and daily ongoing management of all the company's keyword-based advertising campaigns running across paid search (primarily Google but also including Overture/Yahoo!, MSN), natural search (i.
e., search engine optimization) and other contextual advertising channels.
This position will report directly to the Marketing Director.
Marketing Job Title: Search Engine Marketing Manager Immediate Opportunity.
Compensation Plan includes Salary-depending on experience, Stock Options, and competitive benefits package.
Hours/location: Fulltime, Onsite, Flexible hours.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 2-4 years of experience in the development, optimization and management of large (500+) keyword business-to-business paid search marketing campaigns.
Advanced understanding of search engine optimization strategies and web site development.
Including proven background with search advertising campaigns.
Ability to work closely with web development team to implement search-optimized page content and keyword strategies.
Strong quantitative analysis skills (producing regular reports and tracking CPM/CPC/CPL metrics including referrals, link popularity and rankings) with the ability to make data-justified campaign decisions and investments.
Strong verbal and written skills and ability to own all vendor relationships connected with this role.
Research, identify and establish partnerships to improve results (ie links strategies) and to facilitate and manage campaigns with third parties.
Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities and ability to work without supervision.
Experience with Yahoo, MSN, and other large search engine programs desired.
Certification of Google Adwords Professional a plus.
Experience with Google Analytics a plus.
Experience with Salesforce.com web-to-lead functionality a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapid growth, technology start-up environment/culture.
