Job Description We are looking for an exceptionally intelligent, talented and enthusiastic Project Manager to assist in implementing and managing the Publishing Team's suite of content-rich online properties.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the major responsibilities of the Project Manager will be: Working closely with the Technical Manager and Web producer to coordinate technical implementation of projects Managing and prioritizing a project pipeline for a team of web developers and QA specialists Assisting in continuously analyzing, maintaining, and improving the development process Technical Requirements The ideal candidate will have: Strong knowledge of web development and infrastructure, eg HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, PHP/JSP/ASP/CFM Hands on experience with relational databases, eg MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL Knowledge of web search engine mechanics a plus Exposure to web project development cycle General Requirements A high task load is expected.
You should be able to manage and juggle multiple projects while exhibiting exemplary time management and task prioritization Meticulous attention to detail Strong presentation, communication, and collaboration skills, enabling effective interaction and knowledge transfer to teammates Ability to work with minimal to no supervision.
