Product Marketing Manager, Internal Systems - Mountain View
Product Marketing Manager, Internal Systems - Mountain ViewThis position is based in Mountain View, CA. Google is looking for flexible, results-oriented, and experienced people who will drive the strategy and implementation of communication for Google's internal products.
Product marketing managers work across a variety of groups at Google - product management, research and analytics, engineering, sales, UI design, corporate marketing, and public relations to define and execute on product launch and adoption strategies.
Responsibilities: Work closely with product managers, engineers, and UI designers to support the development of new internal products/solutions.
Develop launch communications, monitor product usage/adoption, and execute on-going communication initiatives.
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness and usage of Google's internal products to Google employees.
Work closely with Google employees in Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Engineering, as well as with third parties such as consultants, banks, service providers, and attorneys to understand how they work with internal systems and to deliver effective communication regarding those systems.
Requirements: BA/BS required, ideally computer science/engineering; MBA preferred.
Experience in the launch and management of communications of enterprise software in dynamic, fast-moving companies.
Areas of experience include CRM, Financial Services, HRIS technologies, and web/internet technologies.
Strong communication skills to drive the deployment of your solutions, and to evangelize your colleagues at different levels of the company on the business criticality of your solutions.
Track record in working effectively with internal stakeholders, product management, and engineering to understand business requirements and translate those into effective communication for fast product adoption.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational, project management and analytical skills.
Solid understanding of Google's strategic and competitive position.
Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables.
Solid knowledge and experience in the software enterprise industry.
