Responsibilities: As a Product Manager, you will lead the development of features that ensure Elance is the easiest, safest, and preferred place to buy and sell services online.
You will focus on building and enhancing our search, buying, selling, and billing & payment products and ensuring their adoption by mainstream users.
You will be supported by, and work closely with, our Product Development, User Experience, Customer Service, and Category Management teams as you bring your vision to life.
The candidate will have broad responsibilities, including: - Define product requirements for features that drive mainstream adoption and growth.
- Collaborate extensively with the design, user experience, and product development teams to bring your features to life.
- Drive the release schedule to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Work with business units to develop the product roadmap that ensures Elance meets its business and financial targets.
- Analyze marketplace metrics, customer feedback, and competitors to identify and prioritize the right feature sets to drive aggressive adoption.
- Measure and track product success metrics.
Job Qualifications & Requirements - 5-10 years of Product Management experience at a consumer Internet or on-demand software company.
- Demonstrated track record of shipping successful products.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, problem solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative approach to working.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Self-starter/self-motivated.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple demands simultaneously.
Educational RequirementsBA or BS from a top school; advanced degree preferred
