Practice Support Coordinator
O'Melveny & Myers LLP, an international law firm, has an immediate opening in our Los Angeles office for a Practice Support Coordinator.
The purpose of this position is to support the client and firm's practice support needs by providing specialized technical support.
Responsibilities of this position include managing, administering and supporting core applications such as ICONECT, Concordance, LiveNote, Folio Views, Doculex, IPRO, providing specialized training for core applications, managing and consulting with attorneys and paralegals on firm wide ICONECT and LiveNote efforts, assisting with computerized litigation support systems, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining computer applications and services, setting up and maintaining specialty databases on firm's network, Citrix server, intranet and extranet, performing technical data management activities, such as merging data into database applications, merging images into image viewing applications and converting data into various platforms, coordinating litigation support software roll outs, assisting with remote trial set up and providing consulting on ICONECT and LiveNote firmwide.
Requirements include familiarity with a law firm environment, an advanced knowledge of databases, backend knowledge of imagebases, image load file manipulation, image linking and image production subset creation, knowledge of imaging systems.
Candidate must have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, solid interpersonal skills, the ability to troubleshoot litigation support applications and databases, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment working under strict deadlines.
Two to three years of litigation support experience is required; supervisory experience is desired.
The ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion is required.
A four year college degree is preferred.
