.Net Developer for healthcare company.

Affinity Health Plan, an independent, growing, not-for-profit managed care company dedicated to serving the needs of low-income residents of the New York Metropolitan Area, needs an experienced Microsoft .NET Developer.

You will create complex web-based, membership related applications using Microsoft .NET and SQL technologies, and will be responsible for full project lifecycle development and the upgrade of existing custom applications.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who requires minimal direction and can determine appropriate project direction through the evaluation of business requirements and specifications.

Required skills for this position include: - BA degree, or you can be a graduate of a recognized computer programming technical school.

- 3+ years hands on experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including VB.NET, C#.

NET, ASP.NET, and ADO.NET. - 3+ years hands on development experience with SQL Server - 3+ years of experience in all phases of the application development life cycle.

- Prior experience in developing online membership related applications, such as book or CD clubs, online retail or similar transaction web-based applications.

Skills considered a plus but not required: - Visual FoxPro - HTML, Javascript, VBScript, XML and related web development technologies.

- Crystal Reports - Knowledge of health care, managed care or insurance is desirable but not necessary.
