Consumer Marketing Specialist: Autotrader.com
Job Title: Consumer Marketing Specialist Department: Marketing Job Description AutoTrader.com is seeking a marketing professional to execute our consumer advertising initiatives promoting the private seller product.
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the management of a variety of offline and online advertising initiatives, including program and campaign management, offline and online media, paid search, house ads, creative, and email marketing.
He/She will be also be responsible for managing key programs which include strategic development, budget planning, agency management, creative direction, trafficking, tracking and online metrics, Q/A, reporting, analysis and optimization.
Responsibilities · Building the Private Seller brand to support organizational goals.
· Driving online transactions and revenue at a positive ROI. · Manage execution of key private seller programs like email, house advertising, employee discount programs, affiliate marketing program, distribution partner advertising, quarterly promotional events and other similar programs.
· Collaborate effectively with interactive and traditional agency resources as well as other departments to support their marketing needs with respect to online advertising/marketing.
· Manage creative process from concept to execution radio, print, TV, digital, email.
· Program and campaign management of offline media, house ads, paid search, online media, and email marketing.
· Generate monthly campaign reporting, analysis and optimization.
· Effectively communicate program and campaign performance to all applicable audiences.
· Ensure the timely execution of online marketing programs and campaigns.
· Evaluate and test new opportunities to expand reach of the brand and drive revenue.
Minimum Qualifications · Minimum 3-5 years of online/offline marketing and/or advertising experience · Advertising agency experience preferred, experience working with advertising agencies required.
· Project management experience required.
· Experience overseeing online and offline creative and media programs required.
· Direct response or e-commerce or marketing experience preferred.
· Previous experience keeping numerous projects on track and on budget.
· Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
· Ability to collaborate effectively with corporate departments, Cox subsidiaries, and the AutoTrader.com team.
· Demonstrated presentation skills coupled with a positive, energetic attitude.
· Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required.
