Certified Applications Developer - Level III
Certified Applications Developer - Level III The Office of Financial System and Analysis is seeking an experienced web application developer to join our IT team.
This individual will develop browser-enabled applications in a Microsoft (.
Net/VB/SQL Server 2005/IIS) environment for the Bureau of Finance and Planning.
The selected candidate will also be responsible to: Maintain and enhance existing internal finance applications for the Bureau of Finance and Planning.
Interface with users of financial systems to gather, understand and implement system requirements.
Consult on all data integration issues for projects that affect Finance and Planning Create and maintain technical and user system documentation Implement XML data exchanges Desired Skills: Hands-on (ie not only classroom) experience developing in a Microsoft .
Net/VB/SQL Server 2005/IIS environment for production systems (minimum 3 years in addition to any classroom experience) Hands-on experience with data security and encryption techniques and issues Hands-on experience developing for highly available systems (failover, disaster recovery) Hands-on experience defining, implementing and supporting systems of at least the same size and complexity as those for which the Bureau of Finance and Planning is responsible Experience with developing financial systems a plus Hands-on experience with XML data exchange Experience working as the primary support staff for critical systems TO APPLY, PLEASE SUBMIT RESUME www.nyc.gov/health/careers JVN search: 109275 Salary Range: 65,681-92,881 Position (s) #: 690V07 The City of New York is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer
