Associate Producer
iVillage Inc., The Internet For Women(TM), a leading women's media company and the number one "women's community site," is looking for an Associate Producer to join its Editorial/Hearst Magazine Group.
In this role, the Associate Producer will work with and assist producers with editorial site production of magazine web sites.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assisting with the creation, development and production of new areas, tools and features, working cross-departmentally where relevant - Assisting with site updates, including writing of blurbs for site feature rotations - Providing additional resource/coverage for client management - Writing/creating newsletter - Working closely with online community - Helping to track monthly metrics and conduct site analysis - Identifying site content for internal and external distribution - Handling user mail - Other duties as assigned Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 2 + years of website, women's/lifestyle magazine, TV, or book publishing experience, solid writing and editing skills, and familiarity with Internet and online communities.
Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are a must.
This position is best suited for someone who has an enthusiasm for online programming and magazine content in general.
Web experience is a plus (including knowledge of basic HTML and ideally experience with content management systems).
BA in Journalism, English or communications preferred.
