"What will I be doing?" * The Applications Developer works in conjunction with the our staff and the Information Systems Department to provide analysis, design, and re-engineering of the our business processes, procedures, and systems.

* This role serves both to educate the user community on technical issues, and conversely, to instruct the Information Systems Department on business processes and functions.

* Produce improved communication and understanding of requirements between the user community and the Information Systems Department, ultimately resulting in systems that meet user requirements and satisfy the customer in the most efficient manner.

"What kind of background must I have?" * Bachelors degree * Five years experience in software development utilizing a structured development methodology preferably in a JDE World/One World Environment * Demonstrated ability to analyze and re-engineer business processes and to evaluate business and technical issues preferably in a JDE World/OneWorld Environment * Demonstrated ability to produce clear and succinct training documents, reports, and presentations * Demonstrated project management/leadership experience * Demonstrated ability to thoroughly analyze and evaluate the appropriateness of current systems/processes and to recommend and implement improvements * Demonstrated ability to create and deliver detailed specifications for software applications In specialized skill sets, the JDE Applications Developer must have: AS400 (Like-to-Have) Micro Computing (Must Have) JDE Edwards Development Suite (Must Have) If this sounds like the position for you, and you meet all of the above requirements, then we look forward to hearing from you!
