CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVES:
Provide excellent customer service to all Hartford customers (internal/external)
Communicate to customers in a professional manner and resolve issues accurately and independently
Respond to inbound calls and make outbound calls as appropriate.

Serve as a point-of-contact to resolve agent/policyholder problems and customer inquiries
Work in a team-based environment as well as within established and measurable call center metrics

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong multi-tasking ability
At least two years experience working in a Windows based computer environment
Ability to adjust and succeed in a rapidly changing environment
Prior call center or customer service experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoy working in a fast paced, structured environment
Entry level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for energetic, dynamic professionals driven to be successful.
Candidates with previous, customer service, call center, retail, claims, or agency experience preferred.
Qualifications include:
Outstanding verbal communication skills and strong telephone etiquette
Strong multi-tasking ability
Two years experience working in a windows based computer environment
Flexibility and ability to adjust and succeed in a rapidly changing, fast paced call center environment
High school diploma required
WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION OPPORTUNITY?
At the Hartford, our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay competitive base salaries and reward performance.
In addition, you will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits program including Medical, Dental, Life and Disability Insurance, a 401K Plan, an Employee Stock Purchase Plan and more.
The starting base salary range for this position is $26,000 to $27,000 plus a 10-15% shift differential depending on schedule.
Once training is complete, new hires will have an opportunity to earn up to an additional $2,000.
00 to their base salaries in their first 12 months, and participate in a monthly service incentive program.
WHAT ELSE CAN YOU TELL ME?
We offer extensive paid training and benefits begin day-one of employment.
Training begins Oct 25th.
Training hours are 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday through Friday.
This schedule will last for the first 14 weeks.
After training, shift options are 10:30-7:00 PM or 12:30 - 9:00 PM Monday through Saturday, with one comp day during the week.
Saturday hours are 8:30 am - 5:00 PM.
