Drilling, Oilfield and/or Industrial Background - Energy Services SUMMARY Based in Houston, Texasand reporting to the Regional Human Resources Manager, the Senior Human Resources Generalist has responsibility for the direction, development and implementation of Human Resource policies and programs in order to build organizational capacity and create competitive business advantage in the US, while aligning with our culture, values and philosophy as an organization.

Current USoperations include Texas, Arkansas, Wyomingand Pennsylvaniawith potential for other states in the coming months.

The focus of the position will be to learn the operations, company culture, policies and processes, while working with the team to grow the business.

Coaching management and giving guidance to align with our values is critical as is having a business sense to anticipate, understand and provide business solutions (staffing, compensation, benefits, training, etc.). RESPONSIBILITIES · Work closely with the Human Resources team and leadership teams to identify organizational needs for the purpose of defining and delivering HR strategies.

· Develop and direct administration of HR programs and an integrated set of policies, programs, procedures and practices to facilitate corporate strategies and objectives as they relate to the Operations within the US. · Identify and evaluate changes in industry practices and business trends and capitalize on opportunities that will improve the Companys competitive position.

· Provide assistance in developing and fostering the organizations culture to build the climate for success.

· Partner with client groups to provide coaching and direction to Supervisors and Managers to ensure HR practices align with corporate culture and business strategies to achieve organizational and departmental objectives.

· Provide direction, assistance and coaching in recruitment, selection, resource planning and retention activities, compensation planning and employee relations matters.

· Develop opportunities for educating and communicating with employees (eg orientations, presentations).

· Understand customer requirements and provide quality customer service in a timely and accurate manner, matching expectations and capabilities.

· Understand, monitor and advise on legislative and/or corporate policy issues in HR matters, ensuring compliance and providing guidance related to regulatory requirements.

REQUIREMENTS The ideal candidate will have: · progressively responsible experience in a similar HR Generalist role at the senior level with at least five to eight years of experience; · a drilling, oilfield and/or industrial industry background is preferred, particularly with exposure to field operations; · experience with and in-depth knowledge of US Employment standards (ideally in the jurisdictions we will operate); · a post secondary education in Human Resources and a professional HR designation; and · experience in developing project-driven strategies, focusing on fast-cycle initiatives and/or designing effective employee programs as well as managing projects through implementation.
