Human Resources Representative
HUMAN RESOURCES REPRESENTATIVE With direction from Paychex Premier HR Manager or seeking guidance from Premier Sr. HR Reps., coordinates policies and programs to Premier clients in areas of Human Resources such as benefits, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, and information systems.
Provides guidance to clients related to legal HR compliance with assistance from Manager or Premier Sr. HR Rep. Manages client activities including on site visits to create and develop strong business relationships to retain clients, ensure quality service and build additional revenues.
Specific Responsibilities: * Assists in resolving client issues by acting as a liaison with branch, region, and corporate offices on issues including benefits, payroll, human resources, and safety.
- Recommends topics for development of client training programs.
* Deliver presentations that meet high quality standards.
* Builds strong client relationships and provides quality service in an effort to retain client base.
- Inform and counsel clients on Human Resources policies, procedures, performance management, recruitment, employee relations issues and matters relating to employment law. * Confers with HR Manager in the development of appropriate strategies for clients relative to employee relations, disciplinary, operations and performance issues.
* Guides clients in the problem resolution of employee issues pertaining to leaves of absence, worker's compensation and disability accommodations.
- Keeps abreast of trends and changes in Human Resources legislation.
* Clarifies and fulfills clients' ongoing requests/needs by promoting Paychex Premier HR product and services by: * Performing client visits to communicate new and existing services offered by Premier.
* Conducting on-site enrollment meetings, as needed, including Annual Enrollment meetings for clients.
* Consulting with clients on industry trends and compliance as it relates to Section 125, healthcare and retirement plans.
* Presenting or coordinating Human Resource training sessions for clients and their employees.
- Partner with sales and operations to ensure client satisfaction.
Position Requirements: BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience with an emphasis in employee relations/generalis HR or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
PHR certification a plus.
Life/Accident/Health license required within 3 months of employment.
Out of the office servicing clients 50-65% of the time.
Some out of town travel required.
