Human Resource Supervisor-DC: Confidential
Human Resources Supervisor Located in Los Angeles, California JOB SUMMARYUnder direct supervision and guidance, the HR Supervisor is responsible for executing all aspects of human resources function, with a primary emphasis in employee relations, for the store and field organization from a centralized support center at our Corporate Office in Los Angeles, California.
The incumbent is responsible for building strong relationships with the field management team, including Regional Managers, District Managers, Loss Prevention Managers, and Store Managers to facilitate the timely submission of information and completion of HR processes, including, but not limited to, new employee/promotional background screening, employee complaints, leave of absence (LOA) requests, time-off requests, termination requests, documentation requests.
The HR Associate (Generalist) will also participate in the development of Company policies, HR processes, system upgrades, and provide cross-functional support to other areas in HR, including, payroll, benefits, compensation, training/development, recruiting, and data management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage timely investigations and responses to employee concerns and complaints.
Main point of contact for all Corporate Employees regarding HR issues, complaints,and investegations.
Respond to and advise employees and managers on application and interpretation of personnel policies, practices, procedures, and ensure understanding.
Collaborates with Regional Managers, Regional Visual, LP and HR teams to achieve company objectives.
Promotes teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.
Manage various company programs and projects.
Performs other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, assisting other HR functions (i.
e., benefits, recruiting, payroll, and personnel management) in the execution of projects and transactional workload.
Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of related experience as a Human Resource Generalist, as a Coordinator, or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Advanced Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, Charting, Data Mining) and/or Access skills desired.
Lawson experience preferred.
