Human Resource Assistant
Human Resource Assistant Position Responsibilities: This is an excellent opportunity to work for a major international company with an excellent compensation and benefits package.
The ideal candidate will have high ethics, integrity, accuracy, responsiveness and confidentiality, which will enable HR to increase its effectiveness and provide administrative support to all company divisions, with heavy emphasis on benefit program support and the followiing areas: All HR program administration, tracking, intra-company billings, reporting (high volume) Pre-employment documentation/coordination New hire and termination coordination, including onboarding and other unit equip.
notifications, and employee orientation and exit process General basic HR employee questions; internal ee "customer service" Employee workforce reporting, EEO, OSHA, etc. Organizational charting, tracking and announcement prep Compensation/payroll coordination - all actions; serve as payroll back-up Employee record-keeping and file maintenance Work status/visa documentation support Temporary worker requests, tracking /coordination Training coordination and material organization; attendee scheduling Special event coordination Department accounting coordination / vouchering External vendor interface Project support as requested High school diploma; some college or AA degree or higher preferred.
At least 3-5 years work experience, with at least 2 being in an HR function supportive role.
Balanced corporate vs. individual customer service approach.
Proven detailed analysis and accuracy skill; knowledge of payroll overlap data points necessary.
Excellent organization and tracking experience.
Focus on continuous process improvement/streamlining; experience with automating processes desired.
Superior working functionality with Microsoft Office suite, incl.
Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; basic experience with HRIS systems.
Must be self-starting w/ high drive and initiative; ability to handle multiple and escalating priorities.
Experience in multi-cultural corporate environments and appreciation of diverse perspectives critical.
