HRIS Assistant: DreamWorks Animation
The HRIS Assistant supports the administration of day-to-day operations within the HRIS department.
This person performs a wide range of administrative functions and works in conjunction with departments both in and outside of Human Resources .
This is a temporary position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create and maintain HR system records Process a variety of employee transactions (terminations, leaves of absences, salary increases, etc) Respond to employment verifications Complete EDD forms Construction of employee files Heavy data entry, filing, scanning and copying of confidential documents Auditing of employee files against HR database to ensure system integrity Other projects and responsibilities assigned on an as needed basis QUALIFICATIONS Self starter with an interest in broadening skills in HRIS and/or other areas of HR. High attention to detail - accurate typing and data entry skills.
Time management skills are essential.
Able to work under pressure, responding to frequent requests.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
This person must have the ability to go beyond the normal job duties in regard to problem solving.
Proficient in word and excel (experience with pivot tables and basic formulas desired).
Oracle or other IS database experience highly desired.
Bachelor degree in business, human resources or similar field preferred.
