Overview: Manage compensation activities on a daily basis to include the development, implementation, and maintenance of Palm’s compensation programs (domestic and international) that support the Company's business and strategic plans.

This is a hands-on, functional management role.

Duties/Responsibilities: Participate in domestic and international salary surveys and analyze results in order to assess competitive labor market trends, establish salary structures, develop salary budgets and prepare policies and procedures to ensure equitable and competitive employee compensation.

Work with HR Business Partners and line management to provide sound judgment and counsel on compensation issues and practices.

Develop, maintain, and improve compensation administration processes.

Develop and coordinate communications and manager/employee training for compensation programs.

Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines, and procedures recommending plan revision as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.

Ensure global consistency and local competitiveness in compensation programs.

Ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements (i.

e., FLSA, minimum wage).

Qualifications: Requires 8+ years compensation program development and management experience with experience in at least 3 of the following areas (in addition to base salary administration): incentive compensation, sales compensation, executive compensation, equity compensation and/or international compensation.

Skills/Experience: Must be highly analytical and have demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using statistical analysis and financial concepts.

Has the ability to see the "big picture", leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients' business objectives.

Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.

Possess strong working knowledge of federal and state regulations.

Requires strong project management experience, including budget management and diligent attention to detail.

Experience implementing web-based, enterprise-wide performance management systems desirable.

Strong Excel proficiency required; knowledge of Access desirable.

Education: BSBA or equivalent Travel: Occasional travel may be required for this position
