Job Summary We in Human Resources are looking for a highly driven, results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys transforming challenges into solutions, and excels at building effective relationships.
Reporting to the Director of Recruitment and Retention, the Sr. Compensation Analyst will provide technical compensation expertise that supports the HR department's mission of recruiting, developing and retaining a high-caliber, diverse workforce.
The primary dimensions of this role include: Relationship Manager - Leads overall Compensation activities for assigned customer groups (job analysis, salary administration, policy interpretation, etc.) Consultant - Provides analysis and guidance on Compensation issues that result in more effective workforce management.
Analyst - Conducts various analyses (market data, position, etc.) and financial modeling that aid in sound compensation decision-making.
Coach/Educator - Prepares and delivers compensation related presentations and training to the university.
Strategist - Participates in the on-going assessment and refinement of the university's Compensation philosophy and structure to promote market competitiveness and workforce retention.

Able to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively Able to effectively translate internal and external data into meaningful information, so that sound business decisions can be made.
Able to assess/understand customer needs and business challenges and apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations.
Organizational Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field Minimum of three years related experience Preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Strong knowledge of HR laws Departmental Requirements/Preferences Generalist/Consultative experience preferred Experience with multiple compensation philosophies preferred Project management skills helpful Solid knowledge of HRIS systems helpful
