Responsible for administering compensation programs across two business units within Novartis Consumer Health.
Ensure that compensation practices are fair and equitable as well as aligned with external markets and current business strategy.
Act as consultant to HR on all matters relating to compensation.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Conduct salary surveys and study labor markets to determine compensation trends and ensure competitive posture in the market- Primary US contact for job evaluations to establish internal and external compensation levels- Recommend and interpret compensation guidelines, providing guidance to HR Generalists on compensation matters including offers, promotions, etc- Act as a consultant to the HR Generalist community throughout the salary planning process- Represent compensation function in HR metrics discussions and provide analysis as necessary- Act as primary interface with HRIS- Manage special projects as assigned within the compensation function**Please note that this position does not offer relocation assistance**Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree reqquired.
1-3 years experience in HR, preferably with exposure to compensation.
Excellent Microsoft Excel design and analysis, Peoplesoft experience, and Microsoft Access database experience desirable.
