JOB DESCRIPTION: 35140 - HUMAN RESOURCES ANALYST: UNDER GENERAL DIRECTION, SUPPORTS HUMAN RESOURCES RELATED PROGRAMS, POLICIES AND INITIATIVES FOR BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL CLIENTS, IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTIONS: BENEFITS, COMPENSATION, EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, EXPATRIATE ADMINISTRATION, HRIS SYSTEMS, IMMIGRATION COMPLIANCE, LABOR RELATIONS, RECRUITING, AND TRAINING.
MAINTAINS AND GATHERS KNOWLEDGE OF HUMAN RESOURCE PRINCIPLES, CONCEPTS AND INDUSTRY PRACTICES/STANDARDS WHILE ANALYZING INFORMATION AND PROJECTS RELATED TO HUMAN RESOURCES AND SPECIAL MANAGEMENT STUDIES.
USES HUMAN RESOURCE POLICIES AND ORGANIZATION/COMPANY PROGRAMS TO SOLVE PROBLEMS OF MODERATE SCOPE WHERE ANALYSIS IS REQUIRED.
GATHERS, ANALYZES, PREPARES, AND SUMMARIZES ANALYSIS OF EMPLOYEE RELATED DATA AS IT RELATES TO HUMAN RESOURCE POLICIES, PROGRAMS AND PRACTICES.
RESEARCHES AND RESPONDS TO INQUIRES FROM MANAGEMENT AND PERSONNEL.
(08/2005) JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 35140 - HR ANALYST: ABILITY TO ANALYZE, PREPARE, AND COMPILE HUMAN RESOURCE DATA AND STATISTICS ABILITY TO RESEARCH AND RESPOND TO HUMAN RESOURCE-RELATED INQUIRIES.
ABILITY TO IMPLEMENT A PRE-ESTABLISHED HUMAN RESOURCE PROGRAM.
POSITION PREREQUISITES: THE CHANGE COORDINATOR WORKS WITH CLIENTS AND INTERNAL BUSINESS PARTNERS TO DEFINE AND DOCUMENT BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS FOR CHANGES TO THE EDS BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION SYSTEMS.
THE CHANGE COORDINATOR MANAGES THE CHANGE DEFINITION PROCESS, WRITES BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS, SETS PRIORITIES OF PROJECTS, AND MAINTAINS A HIGH LEVEL PROJECT STATUS OF ALL PROJECTS IN PROGRESS FOR A PARTICULAR CLIENT.
CHANGE COORDINATORS POSSESS BOTH DISCIPLINE-SPECIFIC (HEALTH & WELFARE OR DEFINED BENEFITS) AND CLIENT-SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE SO THAT THEY CAN IDENTIFY COMPONENTS OF THE ADMINISTRATION SYSTEMS THAT MAY BE AFFECTED BY PROJECT REQUESTS.
IN ADDITION, CHANGE COORDINATORS POSSESS EXCELLENT WRITING SKILLS THAT ENABLE THEM TO CLEARLY COMMUNICATE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS.
FINALLY, CHANGE COORDINATORS ARE ABLE TO FACILITATE BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL/CLIENT MEETINGS TO FINALIZE REQUIREMENTS.
CHANGE COORDINATORS FOLLOW ESTABLISHED GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES WHILE LOOKING FOR OPPORTUNITIES TO ENHANCE AND STREAMLINE THE OPERATION.
THE FOLLOWING LIST SHOWS SOME OF THE FUNCTIONS A CHANGE COORDINATOR MAY PERFORM ON DAILY BASIS: * DEFINE AND MANAGE CHANGES TO CLIENTS' BENEFIT PLANS AND ADMINISTRATION * DOCUMENT AND MAINTAIN BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS * CREATE PROJECT SCOPE DEFINITION DOCUMENT AND MANAGE CHANGES IN PROJECT SCOPE * IDENTIFY PROJECT SUCCESS CRITERIA * MANAGE THE GOVERNANCE (CHANGE) PROCESS * SET PROJECT PRIORITIES AND DETERMINE IMPACT OF NEW PROJECTS * COMMUNICATE PROJECT STATUS INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY EDS IS A REGISTERED MARK AND THE EDS LOGO IS A TRADEMARK OF ELECTRONIC DATA SYSTEMS CORPORATION.
