Nutritional Data Collection Rep-Full Time: University Community Health
Across from the University of South Florida, you'll find University Community Hospital the flagship of University Community Health.
This 431-bed facility is home to our six centers of excellence focusing resources on major disease areas including cancer treatment, cardiac care, women's health, pediatrics, diabetes management and orthopedics, and offer patients access to the most advanced technology and treatment options.
Although we employ a staff of over 3,000 and provide the expertise of nearly 900 physicians and more than 50 different specialties, we strive to maintain a family atmosphere.
In addition, University Community Hospital offers several specialized service units including intensive care, pediatric/neonatal intensive care, rehabilitation, occupational health, continuing care and orthopedic, pediatric and general surgery as well as a 24-hour emergency department with dedicated treatment facilities for chest pain, pediatrics and minor care.The Nutritional Data Collection Representative is responsible for collecting and processing diet order information from patients in to the computerized system for processing and preparation of menus and special requests.
Responsible for patient tray delivery, snacks plus the collection and documentation to include calorie counts and nutrition intake.
Demonstrates knowledge of modified diets, eternal feeding, computer skills, and diet census sheets.
Promotes and demonstrates service management skills in a professional manner.
Provides a safe and secure environment for patients and guests and follows policies and procedures.
Must be able to interpret information from the Siemens system for tubefeeding calculation.
REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: Basic math, reading and language skills.
Ability to communicate in a clear polite manner.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of diets and computer skills within 90 day of hire.
High School Diploma/Equiv and 3-6 months food service experience is preferred.
