Kitchin Hospitality, LLC, a subsidiary of Jameson Inns, Inc., is currently seeking a General Managers for The Jameson Inn located in Selma, AL and Jasper, AL. Kitchin Hospitality, LLC currently employs over 2,000 associates working in more than 110 hotels in 12 states.

The General Manager will promote, manage, and coordinate the daily operations of the hotel.

The General Manager has responsibility for increasing hotel revenues, improving efficiency, and creating brand loyalty in the local community.

This position will assist in achieving the company's mission and goals while ensuring quality customer service standards and focus.

As needed, this position will provide leadership to all associates in their respective departments as well as inspire all associates to achieve the company's financial and customer service goals and objectives.

Responsibilities at the Inn level include financial analysis, sales & marketing, public relations, human resources, accounting, payroll, and hospitality management.

Jameson operates both interior and exterior corridor properties, ranging from 40 to 150 rooms.

A minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, management, and hotel operations and or restaurant and retail experience required.

An associate's or bachelor's degree in hotel/motel management is preferred but not required.

Must be able to operate a personal computer and have a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and property management software.

Concise, clear verbal and written communication skills.

Basic sales skills and forecasting skills are required.

Ability to work independently with limited support.

Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule that may include evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Excellent customer service skills.

Demonstrated ability to motivate a team, promote teamwork and enthusiasm.
