An abundance of opportunities awaits you. Overview: Transports patients/medical records/specimens between various hospital departments such as Medical Imaging, Dialysis, OR, Lab, etc. Patient population includes geriatric, adult, adoloscent and pediatric.

Patients are transported following isolation and safety guidelines.

Maintains valid CPR certification Afternoon shift Qualifications: Six months previous patient transport experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of medical equipment preferred.

Basic CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.

Must be able to interpret verbal and written information and instructions, ability to express oneself clearly to provide information to others.

Requires orgainizational skills and the ability to function with minimal direction on an independent basis.

Using proper body mechanics while carrying, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching and/or lifting up to 50lbs without assistance, and pushing up to 400 lbs. onn wheels without assistance.

Ability to stand and walk pushing patient care equipment for extended periods of time.

Verbal communication, communicate effectively, must be able to interpret verbal and written information and instructions, ability to express oneself clearly to provide information to others.

Ability to function effectively with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

Ability to perform CPR. The choice is yours.
