Assistant Membership Director: Futren Corporation
Assistant Membership Director needed for Indian Hills Country Club located in East Cobb.
Candidates should possess outstanding human relations skills, be articulate, be a good listener, and have the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to a wide range of personalities and interest groups.
Applicant should be a self-starter.
The candidate must be poised and well groomed.
This position requires excellent organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to coordinate details and prioritize work on a daily and weekly basis.
A memory for names and faces is essential.
The candidate should hold an Associates or Bachelors Degree in marketing, hospitality, a related field, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Prior sales, marketing, or hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.
This position is considered entry level membership sales.
Prior sales experience is a plus.
Compensation will be based on experience.
Weekend and Holiday work will be required.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities Process new members, current member address/phone/email changes, resignations, upgrades, downgrades and any other account maintenance.
Type sales correspondence, file, fax, email, copy as well as any other various clerical needs.
Coordinate and host, with the Membership Director, new and prospective member mixers, appreciation nights and membership related open houses.
Periodically host club special events including holiday brunches, parties and theme nights.
Assist in the development and the implementation of the clubs annual marketing plan and budget.
Assist in the prospecting for new members (individual, corporate and groups) through the establishment of relationships with management of area office buildings, chambers of commerce, business associations and charitable organizations.
Assist the Membership Director with the following sales related activities: follow-up calls, tours, membership inquiries, proposals, presentations, information packages and membership reports.
Assist with the training of new and existing staff regarding membership awareness.
Coordinates, compiles and submits staff input for the monthly club newsletter.
Excellent compensation package includes a base salary, commissions and an extensive bonus system for achieving club goals.
