The Hospitals Center occupies the superblock along First Avenue between 30th St. and 34th St. which it shares with its affiliate, NYU School of Medicine.
NYU Hospitals Center consists of two hospitals: the Tisch Hospital and the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine.
Tisch Hospital is an acute-care general hospital of 726 beds that annually admits approximately 25,000 patients.
The hospital contains a number of important treatment and diagnostic units and is a focus for a wide spectrum of regional patient care programs.
The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine is the world's first facility devoted entirely to rehabilitation medicine.
Together these hospitals provide a range of superb clinical care matched by only a few centers world-wide.
Systems & Design Analyst Job Description: NYUMC is in the process of installing Cerner Millennium Registration modules throughout the enterprise.
The candidate will be responsible for the following tasks related to the ongoing implementation and customization process: Participate with the end users and management in analyzing, developing and preparing system specifications for the application; Design, test, install, maintain and enhance the desired solutions; Creation of reports, queries and custom scripts, as requested by the end users and management; Produce and document quality work in a timely, efficient, manner; Provide ongoing support and training for those who utilize the application; Plus all related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with two years of experience in Systems Analysis or Design Excellent communication skills are essential.
Knowledge of Hospital registration systems and related Healthcare financial and business processes, plus experience with Cerner Millennium, and SQL, is preferred.
