Supervisor, Employment

Job Category: Healthcare

Schedule: 80hrs/pp, Monday - Friday.

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Employment, this position is responsible for the administration of employment procedures and programs in accordance with established protocols, employment law and regulatory compliance.

Implements and evaluates process improvement initiatives.

Assists in the delivery of strategic planning objectives and initiatives for the employment team.

Consults with and advises staff and managers on complex employment and Human Resources issues.

Overall accountability for applicant tracking database integrity, reporting, and accuracy.

Report generation and analysis from HRIS system.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree.

Five to seven years experience in employment and/or human resources with progressive responsibilities.

Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills.

Experience in Lawson preferred.

Preferred experience working in an organization comparable to the size and complexity of Spectrum Health.

Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

Time management and organizational skills.

Self directed.

Independently mobile.

Ability to make quality, independent decisions.

Analytical and strong problem solving skills.

Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.
