Staff Nurse II On-Call (5213281)
SKILLS TESTING: N/A DEPARTMENT: Med/Surg 4 West SCHEDULE: On-Call; Days Shift; Sunday through Saturday.
EDUCATION: GRADUATE OF AN ACCREDITED NURSING PROGRAM.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: CURRENT CALIFORNIA RN Current "BCLS" provider certification required.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING/WORK EXPERIENCE: Staff NURSE II (job code 022952) Six months full time or equivalent of experience in adult med/surg/oncology/orthopedics in acute care facility within the past three years required.
Emphasis is placed on the application of nursing process within age appropriate developmental, psychosocial, biophysical, environmental, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs of the Adult med/surg/oncology/orthopedics patient.
Experience with med/surg/oncology/orthopedic patients preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Prolonged standing and walking required with ability to lift and move patients.
Other requirements as identified in the individual's unit structure standards.
NOTE: Scheduled hours: (#HRS) Schedule is Sunday through Saturday, days of the week to be determined based on operational need.
