Staff Nurse II [231304]
DEPARTMENT: Pediatrics SCHEDULE: On call, Day shift EDUCATION: AA, AS, Diploma or BS Degree in Nursing from an Accredited School of Nursing LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current California RN License PALS Certification QUALIFICATIONS: - Six (6) months Pediatric experience required within the past three (3) years, required.
- Six (6) months Outpatient experience within the past three (3) years, preferred.
- IV proficiency required.
- Must be willing to perform other duties as necessary and assigned.
- Must possess clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to focus attention on detail.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize.
- Must be able to take directions and follow work rules.
- Must be able to stay on schedule.
- Must provide excellent and courteous customer service.
- Current PALS certification required.
- Must be willing to float.
- Satisfactory attendance over the past 12 months required.
- Must be willing to work weekends as required.
- Must complete formal PARRS training for Clinic Nursing computerized systems.
