The Research Coordinator coordinates, develops, implements, and supports the research process throughout the system by assisting investigators in study design, completion of the approval process and management of data specific to the subspecialty of involvement.
The role also proactively support the efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and to promote a safe environment at Children's.
Qualifications Possess bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.
g., biology, chemistry, statistics, etc.), BSN., or Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Georgia plus an advanced degree (eg MPH., M.
S., MA) or equivalent experience Five or more years of clinical or related experience, preferably in the subspecialty of involvement Three or more years of research experience with knowledge about the conduct of clinical trials, research principles and methodologies and study design Knowledge of federal regulations and regulatory requirements for conducting research Self directed and motivated to work independently toward short and long term goals Possess good communication, organization, interpersonal skills and computer skills including working knowledge of a PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint) and basic statistics preferred Management experience
