Registered Pharmacist
Description: To review, profile, compound and dispense medications to a patient on the receipt of a physician's order.
The pharmacist is responsible for the patient population from newborns to geriatrics.
Requirements: Education/Training/Certification/Licensure: BA/BS in Pharmacy.
NJ. Pharmacy License.
One year current pharmacy experience, preferably in hospital.
Special Equipment/Skills: Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to use computers, typewriter, pharmaceutical balance, IV equipment and all other relative office supplies and pharmaceutical equipment.
Work Environment and Hazards: Works within well-ventilated, well-lighted areas.
Work Contact Group: All pharmacy personnel, physicians, nursing staff, patients, vendors and all other departments interacting with the Pharmacy Dept.
