RN-Weekend Option (Heart Center)
Schedule: 48 hrs/pp, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, every Saturday and Sunday Department: Cardiovascular (Heart Center) Job Summary: Spectrum Health consists of two acute care facilities with a combined capacity of over 1,000 inpatient beds.
We also offer opportunities in our outpatient settings including offices, clinics, occupational health, Med Centers and Surgical Centers.
This position is only available in the acute care setting.
Job Requirements: Michigan RN license.
CPR certification or acquisition within 90 days of employment.
Staff in this program are allowed 108 hours off per calendar year on weekends.
Part time benefit eligibility.
Other: Time management and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computers and their application preferred.
Working knowledge of a variety of health care equipment.
Ability to make quality, independent decisions.
Ability to instruct and direct the work of others.
80% of time spent standing and/or walking.
Ability to lift up to a 60 pound weight load.
Very frequent lifting and bending, pushing and/or pulling loads.
Able to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.
