RN-Radiation Oncology (Internal)
Schedule: Eight hour variable shifts (.
1. Weekends: on call Location: Butterworth Job Summary: Spectrum Health consists of two acute care facilities with a combined capacity of 1,000 inpatient beds.
We also offer opportunities in our outpatient settings including offices, clinics, occupational health, Med Centers and Surgical Centers.
This GI/GU position provides nursing care to patients with abdominal surgeries, urological and gastrointestinal diseases.
An experience award for recent, related experience is available if you meet identified requirements.
Job Requirements: Michigan RN license.
CPR certification or acquisition within 90 days of employment.
New graduates may apply.
Other: Time management and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computers and their application preferred.
Working knowledge of a variety of health care equipment.
Ability to make quality, independent decisions.
Ability to instruct and direct the work of others.
80% of time spent standing and/or walking.
Ability to lift up to a 60 pound weight load.
Very frequent lifting and bending, pushing and/or pulling loads.
Able to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.
