RN-Neonatal Services
Schedule: 72hrs/pp, variable days, every other weekend.
Location: DeVos Children's Hospital Job Summary: Spectrum Health consists of two acute care facilities with a combined capacity of over 1,000 inpatient beds.
We also offer opportunities in our outpatient settings including offices, clinics, occupational health, Med Centers and Surgical Centers.
This neonatal services position provides nursing care to the premature and physiologically compromised newborn.
Job Requirements: Michigan RN license.
CPR and NRP certification or acquisition within 90 days of employment.
Other: Time management and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computers and their application preferred.
Working knowledge of a variety of health care equipment.
Ability to make quality, independent decisions.
Ability to instruct and direct the work of others.
80% of time spent standing and/or walking.
Ability to lift up to a 60 pound weight load.
Very frequent lifting and bending, pushing and/or pulling loads.
Able to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.
