RN will travel to scheduled blood drives performing whole blood and platelet collections on healthy volunteer donors.

Travel is limited to 1-2 drives / day within a certain radius of your home.

RN will supervise the mobile operations staff to support the collection and distribution of blood products, plan and set up of mobile collection sites, ensure accurate and quality screening procedures and identify donor reactions and perform appropriate interventions.

Blood Drives are based on 2 week schedule and drives can go into the evening so you must be flexible in your schedule.

RN will also be responsible for regulatory (AABB and FDA) guidelines to be followed on drives.

Training provided.

Very Autonomous position with excellent growth potential! Must have current CA Registered Nurse license and be in good standing with CA RN Board.

Blood donor / Apheresis experience a plus and excellent IV / venipuncture and phlebotomy skills required.

Must have reliable transportation and clean driving record.

Travel is reimbursed and there are incentive bonus programs and comprehensive benefits package.

Position can be full time or per diem (with a minimum of 3 days / week commitment).

Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
