Established in 1967, our facility has continued to grow and support our surrounding community, by adding key specialty areas such as cardiac services, the Mercy Cancer Center, the Mercy Center for Breast Health, the Mercy Sleep Center, the NICU, Mercy Home Health and Hospice, Bariatric Surgery and in 1999 a Level II Trauma Center.
Currently, we are focusing on our next endeavor, a $100 million expansion project, scheduled to open in 2009.
The expansion includes a new 6-story wing that will bring an additional 100 care beds to the community, all of which will be private! We are especially proud of the national recognition we have received for our Family Birth Center, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Trauma Program.
MSJMC is a full service acute care facility, supported by its' 1670 employees, and 323 medical staff.

As part of the RSP IV Therapy/Imaging team you will provide care for patients from all areas of the hospital for IV Therapy needs and admission & recovery from Imaging procedures at Mercy San Juan Medical Center, and, if necessary, cover for Mercy Hospital of Folsom IV Therapy back up. Additionally, this position also floats to Medical/Surgical units at MSJ & MHF when census requires.
RSP IV THERAPY & IMAGING - CA RN licensure; BLS; ACLS required.
2 years experience acute med/surg nursing and qualified in arrhythmia recognition.
Telemetry experience preferred.
PICC insertion & certification preferred, but willing to train in PICC insertion.
