RN-Clinics Maternal Fetal Medicine Charge Nurse
Internal applicants preferred Schedule: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (no weekends or holidays) Location: 221 Michigan Job Summary: The Registered Nurse, in accordance with the Spectrum Health nursing accountability statement, collaborates with other members of the health care team and uses clinical judgement skills to diagnose and treat the patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
Job Requirements: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan.
Graduate of approved nursing program.
Triage experience in physician office preferred.
Successful completion of competency-based orientation program.
CPR certification or acquisition within 90 days of employment.
Other: Time management and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of computers and their application preferred.
Working knowledge of a variety of health care equipment.
Ability to make quality, independent decisions.
Ability to instruct and direct the work of others.
80% of time spent standing and/or walking.
Ability to lift up to a 60 pound weight load.
Very frequent lifting and bending, pushing and/or pulling loads.
Able to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes and multiple interruptions.
