RESPIRATORY THERAPIST II (25989)
REQUIREMENTS St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center has been a symbol of quality healthcare in the Valley of the Sun for more than 111 years and has been voted a "Best Place to Work in the Valley" for three years in a row. Now the largest hospital in Arizona, this 690-bed "teaching and research" hospital in downtown Phoenix, is home to Barrow Neurological Institute, one of the nation's top 10 neuroscience centers and the Children's Health Center, which is the second largest provider of comprehensive pediatric services in the State.
Our Trauma Center is Arizona's only Level 1 center verified by the American College of Surgeons and our nine critical care units serve more than 60,000 patients a year.
The hospital also offers high-risk obstetrical and neonatal intensive care as well as adult and cardiovascular care programs.
St. Joseph's is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare, while helping the underserved through clinics, community grants and outreach programs.
The Respiratory Therapist manages all patients on ventilators and related life support equipment.
Performs routine blood gas analysis, consisting of arterial, capillary and venipunctures, as well as performing patient assessments and recommending appropriate therapy.
Documents all treatment and therapies performed.
RRT REQUIRED.
