The facility was constructed in 1974, to serve the healthcare needs of the rapidly growing population of West and South St. Louis County along with residents in neighboring Jefferson and Franklin counties.
In 1997, Des Peres Hospital was acquired by Tenet Healthcare Corporation and is one of five hospitals that make up Tenet Saint Louis.

Qualifications EDUCATION AND TRAINING: · BSN or graduate of RN program.
B) LICENSING/REGISTRATION/CERTIFICATION: · Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.
· Completion of CPR course C.
C) EXPERIENCE: Recent Geriatric clinical experience preferred.
