REGISTERED NURSE (DAYS & NIGHTS) (19012)

Now the largest hospital in Arizona, this 690-bed "teaching and research" hospital in downtown Phoenix, is home to Barrow Neurological Institute, one of the nation's top 10 neuroscience centers and the Children's Health Center, which is the second largest provider of comprehensive pediatric services in the State.
Our Trauma Center is Arizona's only Level 1 center verified by the American College of Surgeons and our nine critical care units serve more than 60,000 patients a year.
The hospital also offers high-risk obstetrical and neonatal intensive care as well as adult and cardiovascular care programs.

Our multi-specialty department facilitates a wide range of patient procedures.
Partnering with our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), we are able to offer our patients highly professional care in an environment that enhances the overall surgical/procedural experience.
The working environment: Our eight-room OR suite maintains a 1: 1 nurse-to-patient ratio, which enables us to form close relationships with patients and their families during very difficult times.
We also feature a 14-bay multi-level PACU with staff dedicated to trauma and other emergency cases.
Our PACU features a 2: 1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Throughout the unit we are committed to using the latest technology, affording staff the opportunity to constantly learn and enhance their skills.
As a Level I Trauma Center, we are operational 24/7.
We primarily feature eight hour shifts for scheduled cases and when taking call (Call is required).

Requirements: Ability to obtain an AZ RN License or an RN License from a Compact State (refer to www.ncsbn.org for a complete listing of Compact States) and 1 year nursing experience required, with Operating Room experience preferred.
PACU nurses must be ACLS and PALS certified.
