Fauquier Hospital provides a full array of innovative diagnostic and treatment capabilities to the people of Fauquier County, as well as the surrounding counties of Culpeper, Prince William and Rappahannock.
Patient care areas include two medical-surgical nursing units, an intensive care unit ICC/CCU, Family Birthing Center, five room surgical suite, plus emergency, outpatient special procedures, cardio/pulmonary, interventional radiology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and medical imaging and diagnostics departments.
Job Details: Summary: The Quality Consultant (QC) will provide performance improvement consulting services to Home Health.
This will include maintaining and facilitating the education of the staff with: JCAHO and regulatory compliance, infection control, utilization review of clinical documentation (written and electronic), OBQI (Outcomes Based Quality Initiatives) education.
The Quality Consultant will support Home Health to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
The QC will provide facilitation support and participate in system wide PI teams, all Home Health PI teams and OBQI projects.
The QC will use appropriate tools and techniques to analyze and present data.
The QC will demonstrate the ability to work within the organizational structure.
Requirements: AA/AS, BS/BA preferred.
3-5 years.
Current Registered Nurse or Therapist.
