Psychologist The NYU Hospitals Center, one of the nation's premier centers of excellence in health care and medical research, is located in mid-town Manhattan, New York City.
The Hospitals Center occupies the superblock along First Avenue between 30th St. and 34th St. which it shares with its affiliate, NYU School of Medicine.
NYU Hospitals Center consists of two hospitals: the Tisch Hospital and the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine.
Tisch Hospital is an acute-care general hospital of 726 beds that annually admits approximately 25,000 patients.
The hospital contains a number of important treatment and diagnostic units and is a focus for a wide spectrum of regional patient care programs.
The Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine is the world's first facility devoted entirely to rehabilitation medicine.
Together these hospitals provide a range of superb clinical care matched by only a few centers worldwide.
Responsibilities Candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations; performing individual and group psychotherapy; plus all related functions.
Requirments Doctorate in Psychology.
NYS License as a Psychologist plus cognitive remediation licensed required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
Experience in rehabilitation, health psychology work with TBI and CVA chronic pain preferred.
