Pharmacist, Registered 19840
Description: The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for assisting the Director of Pharmacy in the coordination and supervision of all Clinical Pharmacy activities in addition to the Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities relating to the provision of Pharmaceutical Care.
He/She plans, organizes analyzes and compiles the hospital's drug utilization program (s) as required and assists in the implementation of cost containment programs.
He/She furnishes clinical information to physicians, pharmacy personnel, and other health professionals and patients.
He/She serves to supervise clinical activities of the distributive pharmacists.
Requirements: Completion of course at an Accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Pharm D Registration in NJ as a Pharmacist Residency field work in specialty area preferred Must have minimum of two (2) years of Hospital Pharmacy experience Familiarity with all phases of Hospital Pharmacy Working knowledge of Health Care Matters Understanding of role of Pharmacy Department within the Hospital, its inter-relationships with other departments and functions Familiarity with Pharmacy Computer Applications desirable Strong verbal and written skills required To apply for this opportunity, please click on the apply online link below.
