Pharmacist
Bonus Sharp employee eligible for $500 referral bonus.
Location This position is located in Kearny Mesa.
Hours 10 hour shift: Days 7:00 am - 5:30 pm and/or Eves 1:30 pm - 11:00 pm, working every other weekend.
Qualifications Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy required.
Current California Pharmacy license required without restriction or probation.
Current CPR certification required.
Minimum of one-year experience in a hospital pharmacy environment is preferred, but not required.
Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
Ability to work in a complex and fast-paced environment, and to work with people.
Ability to organize work and follow through on responsibilities required.
Must be able to manage fluctuating workload and technicians required.
Must possesses good communication skills.
Summary Sharp Memorial Hospital's Pharmacy offers an excellent clinical program which allows for a very "hands on" approach for our Pharmacists.
Our program includes Pharmacokinetics, Antibiotic Surveillance, Nutritional Support, Anti-coagulation, Renal Target and Pain Management.
We offer certification in all these areas.
Sharp Memorial Hospital is the flagship hospital of the Sharp HealthCare System with extensive and complex medical-surgical patient type.
Pharmacy is a 24-hour, seven days a week operation.
Decentralized distribution model with PYXIS profile.
Extensive pharmacy clinical services including anticoagulation, antibiotic surveillance, nutritional support, pain management, pharmacokinetics and renal dosing.

Physical Ability to lift up to 10 pounds; extensive walking; able to sit for extended periods as necessary.
