As a Pediatric RN with Gentiva, you will: *Provide total patient care to high-tech, chronically ill children in their own home.
*Consult with physician and Nurse Manager to admit and discharge patients.
*Confer with physician in developing the initial plan of treatment.
*Coordinate appropriate care, encompassing various healthcare personnel.
*Accurately, promptly, and thoroughly document patient's care observations, interventions and evaluations.
Qualifications *Current RN license and CPR certification required with a minimum of 1+ years pediatric nursing experience *Prior home health experience preferred *Experience administering appropriate medication based on patients' histories *Knowledge of the uses and typical dosages of medications *Excellent clinical skills and the ability to obtain good histories, perform routine physicals, and create working treatment plans *Team-oriented and have the ability to work collaboratively with others in the medical team Benefits We recognize people as our most valuable asset.
