PROVIDER REIMBURSEMENT ANALYST

PROVIDER REIMBURSEMENT ANALYST Summary: A national managed care network consisting of over 85,000 individual practitioners, 400,000 group practitioners, 95,000 ancillary facilities and 4,200 acute care facilities is seeking a highly motivated candidate to serve as a Provider Reimbursement Analyst.
Primary focuses include performing fee schedule analysis and maintenance in prescribed timeframes, research of fee-related issues and identification of systemic issues.
This position interacts with various levels of staff and management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Provide standard and ad-hoc fee schedule analyses to other departments and senior management in required timeframes.
- Participate in quarterly data integrity audits to ensure data accuracy.
- Work closely with other team members and departments to research and resolve all fee related issues.
Identify and report systemic or recurring problems.
- Update databases as required.
- Additional responsibilities to be determined based upon candidate's level of experience.
- Application testing as required.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED: - Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to quickly attain and understand new processes and software.
- Must possess strict attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Background in HealthCare helpful but not necessary.
