Office/Accounts Receivable Manager: Confidential
Job OverviewSecures revenue by collecting required payments; billing insurances including Medicare and Medicaid; .
Duties and Responsibilities Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Bills individuals, as well as insurance companies, including Medicare and Medicaid for services rendered.
Explains customer responsiblitiies and builds relationship with customer in order to accomplish goal of timely payment for services.
Collects payment for services rendered in a timely manner.
Works independently and has ability to multitask in busy, constantly changing environment.
Communicates well with difficult people in emotional situations.
Works as a member of the team with ability to take on additional tasks as the need arises.
Skill & Qualifications Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management including in-market management and customers Ability to work and participate in a team oriented environment Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic and changing environment Strong analytical skills with effective problem solving abilities Strong attention to detail High degree of initiative; highly motivated self starter Detail oriented and able to multi-task effectively Previous experience in skilled nursing facility business office Working knowledge of medical billing of insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid
