*Nurse Director, Ambulatory Care
Dept: Medical Affairs The Ambulatory Care Nurse Administrator is the designated representative of the Medical Service Plans Administrator, in concert with the Division of Nursing, in matters relating to nursing care activities.
These include all functions performed by Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, LPN's, and Medical Assistants.
The Administrator is responsible for developing and/or communicating nursing policies, procedures, and expectations; the development and achievement of standards of practice for ambulatory care; and recommending new programs and/or modifications to existing policies.
Will collaborate with various disciplines and hospital departments under the direction of Medical Affairs executive leadership.
Develops nursing standards of practice for ambulatory care.
Assumes leadership role in the implementation of Epic EMR in ambulatory settings.
Will develop feedback loops and metrics as performance indicators.
Will lead clinical process improvement efforts and assists in the standardization of key processes across practices.
Additional Information Position Type: Full-Time Education/Special Skills Required: Expertise and progressive experience in ambulatory nursing management required.
Ability to design and lead implementation teams.
Competence in current nursing practice.
Currrent IL. RN license required.
Masters preferred.
